Have you tried taking it easy for a whole day? Oura Activity Score calculation checks if your week includes Recovery days to maximize your body’s ability to recover between/from more active days.
What is a recovery day? For Oura, a recovery day means keeping the amount of medium intensity level activity below 60 minutes and high intensity activity below 10 minutes. In practice this means doing lots of low intensity activities, getting healthy amounts of medium intensity activity, for example 30-50 mins of brisk walking, but only a small amount of high intensity activity.
How often should I have a Recovery Day? Recovery time looks at the amount of recovery days. The recommended amount of recovery days is 1 to 2 days per week. Recovery days are generally recommended to avoid overtraining and injuries, and to allow muscle recovery and neural system recovery.
